Ecstatic Dance: Endings & Beginnings with Steph & Sam
Join us at De La Sol Yoga Studios for an evening of freeform movement, self-expression, and connection through Ecstatic Dance. This is your space to let loose, vibe with the music, and move however your body feels called—no shoes, no judgment, just pure rhythm. Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or just looking to shake off the day, DJ Sammy C will guide the night with a live musical journey to awaken your mind, body, and spirit. The dance floor is a space to tune into yourself, explore your movement, and let the music take over—because here, there’s no right or wrong way to dance.
The night starts with a circle to set intentions as a community, leading into the dance floor experience. Need a break? Head to the Sun Room to chill out with cozy props, puzzles, or light activities. We’ll wrap up the evening with a sharing circle to reflect and connect before heading out. Wear black or white, dress comfortably, and don’t forget your water bottle. Come with an open heart, leave with a renewed sense of joy, vitality, and connection. This is your invitation to dance like no one’s watching—because no one is.

Intro to Kinhin (Walking Meditation) with Steve Ferrell
Walking meditation, or Kinhin, is not the practice of walking… why? Because we already know how to walk. Instead, Kinhin is the practice of being fully present in each step. Sometimes called the ‘way of action’ Kinhin is the practice of attending to the act of walking. All day long, as human beings, we move through the world. The difficulty is that most of the day as we are doing things (driving our cars, washing the dishes, talking with co-workers or loved ones), 85% of the time we are thinking of other things. Kinhin is a wonderful opportunity to practice being fully HERE in the actions that we are doing while we are doing them. Walking meditation is also a very wonderful practice for people who find sitting meditation too difficult or can’t seem to make the time. Every moment that we are walking is a time to practice. Join Steve Ferrell (E-RYT200, YACEP), in exploring some background philosophy of walking meditation as well as working on some really basic technique to help you start a Kinhin practice in your everyday life.
Saturday, May 3rd | 12:30-2pm | $40 +HST, save $5 if you book before April 5th!
From Scattered to Centred: Yoga & ADHD Brain Training with Katie Stevenson
Do you have difficulty managing time or prioritizing tasks? Are you often forgetful, impulsive, or restless? Do you seek immediate gratification, have a million hobbies, or frequently start exciting new projects without finishing? If so, this Yoga for ADHD Masterclass is designed for you! This unique 2-hour practice blends dynamic, dopamine-boosting movement with restorative stillness, helping to sharpen focus, regulate emotions, and improve cognitive flexibility. Neuroscience shows that exercise increases dopamine and norepinephrine, improving attention and motivation, while meditation strengthens the prefrontal cortex, reducing distractions and impulsivity. Through active flow sequences, balance challenges, and mindful breathing, you’ll learn to work with your brain, not against it—building skills for presence, patience, and clarity. Katie’s signature teaching blends science, philosophy, and holistic healing, creating a practice that is both insightful and deeply nurturing. With training in psychotherapy, yoga, and Reiki, she brings a grounded yet infectious energy that awakens students to their innate potential for mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing.
This practice is suitable for all bodies. Please Bring Your Phone to class (what? I know) and a journal.

4 Week Course: Asana/Meditation with Steve Ferrell
Often the term Asana is translated as ‘pose’ or ‘posture’ , when the term Asana has much more to do with the quality of mind that we take into the poses. That being said, just because we are moving and breathing does not mean that we are always being mindful of our movements. In this workshop, Steve Ferrell (E-RYT200, YACEP), will explore movement, breath, and meditative techniques to bring more attention and mindfulness into how the body, breath, and mind work together in practice and outside of practice. Learn to be so present on your mat so that you can carry that presence and mindfulness into the rest of your life. Into every moment, every conversation, every experience.
Saturdays, May 24th - June 14th | 12-2pm | $160 +HST, save $10 if you sign up before April 26th with our early bird discount!
